Benefits of Super Foods

Many different foods are said to be good for you. Some of these foods we know about, such as fruit and vegetables. However, others might be new to you. Super foods are high in some type of beneficial nutrient, such as antioxidants or omega-3 fatty acids. They may also be high in vitamins and minerals, or they may be a great source of fiber or something else that’s good for your body. Super foods come in many forms, there are nuts (particularly almonds), seaweed and algae, berries (e.g., blueberries), kale, broccoli, red cabbage, onion, garlic and ginger just to name a few.
